Draft of TikTok’s Plan to Avoid a Ban Gives the US Unprecedented Oversight Power

From my understanding, this sounds very much like what foreign companies operating in China need to agree to with the Chinese government.

This not the solution I was expecting. It sounds like a terrible precedent and I think exposes the intentions and desires of our government to gain more ‘oversight’ into online communications.

Disappointing.
