Reducing inequality benefits everyone – so why isn’t it happening?

Perhaps the perceived benefits of selfishness exceed those of reducing inequality.

Because the precondition (reduction of inequality) is not met.

Because it obviously doesn't benefit everyone.

because its not about "us" having, its about "them" not having.
