Adding to this something that may be useful to know is how to induce a migraine in anyone. I learned this by mistake as I take a lot of supplements and that forced me down some research rabbit holes. If one takes Immunoglobulins G/A/M and raises their levels too high it will most certainly induce a migraine even in people that never get them. It turns out that when peoples immunoglobulin levels are too high it is expected they will get a migraine. I think it would be interesting if people that often get migraines were to check their IGG/IGM/IGA/IGB levels. This can be a sign of an infection or worse somewhere in the body if this occurs without consuming immunoglobulins. Some foods can raise these levels as well. If someone already had elevated levels then some foods can be a trigger, especially anything with vitamin A which we all need.
I discovered a way to avoid the pain by withdrawing my attention from part of my gut. I've been doing that for more than 50 years. I still get the auras, and I tried going back to paying attention in the difficult part of my gut as an experiment recently... there is days of pain if I want it. Shudder.
