Devuan 5.0 Released For Debian 12 Without systemd

The people's appreciation we get is impressive: desktop Linux users (a 3% niche in the world, I know...) really like Devuan and, in general report a better experience on distros without systemd, see https://distrowatch.com/dwres.php?resource=ranking

thanks for posting the news here, there is a lot of love and attention to detail in Daedalus <3

Knoppix is also without systemd since release 8.6. Release 9.1 is current, though 9.2 is available via a German magazine.

Having been released in 2021, Knoppix does not support Wayland, whereas the more recent Devuan does.

Both will boot live.

The next Devuan release, 6.0, is codenamed Excalibur. Repositories are already available for the adventurous to test.

I would prefer if Debian also had alphabetic release names. With Buster, Bullseye and Bookwork I just can't memorize the order and age of those versions.
