Only because you couldn't get AA with chromium? FreeBSD is my daily driver, stable as a brick. Everything just works.

I run NetBSD as a desktop and AA also works with Chromium. This looks strange.

there is a very polished, BSD-based desktop available, albeit at a fairly high price compared to FOSS alternatives
