Yeah it really seems like the youtube algorithm pushes creators so hard that they are constantly adjusting their video titles to try to get the best traction, often leading to video titles that diverge significantly from the original intent of the video. It's an annoying situation as it means browsing and clicking on videos is a very inconsistent experience!
