Slack Gets a Makeover

It looks nice, but it's more important how usable is it?

With current Slack UI, getting to all your unresponded messages and your starred channels (you also want to be saying things, not just reading them, so "Activity" might not be enough) is one click away and above the fold (depending how big you make the Slack window).

However, it was annoying to search for people you haven't interacted with in a while, esp as you use auto-hiding for such conversations. Though improving auto-hiding could have been better.

I'll use it for a while before making a call, but it's not like I have an option: hopefully it remaind possible to run the old client for those who really find the new UI unusable.

They ruined slack... looks like teams now
