AI Chatbots Are the New Job Interviewers

The subtitle is about "bias", as if it would be ok to dehumanize job applicants by making them talk to a chatbot as long as they're all equally treated like shit. The whole "AI safety" discussion is such nonsense, people are either making up risks (existential) or focusing on superficial bias, censoring requests to kill a process or order a coke, but nobody cares about the horrible real stuff people are actually doing with technology. It's all just a smokescreen.

I've been on the receiving end of some of these and it's so dehumanizing.

Relatedly, some ATS systems are systematically filtering candidates that would otherwise be qualified just because of some algorithmic resume scoring going on in the background. I'm building out Resgen[0] to fight back against these systems and really put power back in job candidate's hands because a lot of these processes are getting ridiculous.

Just nope. That's entirely dehumanizing and a bit degrading. Companies that do this sort of thing are clearly indicating that they hold people in pretty low regard, and so are to be avoided.
