You can’t run away from technical debt

In my long (too long) experience, technical debt is never solved within old schlerotic companies, it is only solved by competition between companies.

New successful startups with cleaner tech, and none of the baggage, out-compete the incumbent.

If your innovative spirit is stifled by tech debt, don't die trying to fix it, move somewhere with less.

You can run away.
