Ask HN: State of the Art in Internationalization

Hello HNers,

what would be the state of the Art of I18N and L11N? Does one use AI today? What are SaaS companies one would use and software stacks, e.G. for iOS and Android, Flutter and native apps?

Would one do L18N on the backend and send localized text to the frontend as part of the API or keep L18N in the client?
