A New York VC Firm Is Ranking Its Interns on a Public Leaderboard

If some of you aren't aware, there was a famous semiconductor company - Fairchild Semiconductor[1], founded by William Shockley, Nobel prize laureate (who got his prize for discovery of transistor effect), that engaged in similar bullshit. [1]https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fairchild_Semiconductor

It sounds like a dumb gimmick, but I don't see anything morally wrong with it as long as the interns are aware of the deal before they accept the offer to work there.

Also, is it actually public? Or just shared with everyone inside the firm? If it's public, anyone got a link to the leaderboard? And if it's not public, then it sounds less like a gimmick, and more like a transparent stack ranking incentive program.
