Google Street View driver crashes after 100 MPH chase, police say

Maybe he was feeling lucky.

Maybe Google Street View drivers are penalized for stopping the same way Amazon fulfillment workers are penalized when they take a pee break?

In all seriousness though, there could probably be a Wikipedia page dedicated to Street View drivers involved in incidents. Incidents are bound to happen when you regularly drive on nearly every public street in the world.

would love to be able to watch the whole car chase from Street view

> stated that he worked for Google and was scared to stop

I wonder what scared them.

Probably getting fired for breaking the law while performing the job.

You'd be scared too if you were living while black in Indiana.

He was driving through the Valley of the Shadow of death

This could make for a great Easter egg in Maps, assuming the camera was on.
