I worked on this! It's curated by a few video editors in LA who collect vintage VHS tapes.

They've been doing it for many years, the stream is the cream of the crop. You can't imagine the scope of the discard pile.

I love this kind of projects, it reminded me a lot of Memorex by Smash TV [1] I can totally see you put a lot of effort into this, congrats!

Thank you for your hard work!

Nobody is commenting because if you click the link you're hypnotized for an hour

yeah this is pretty amazing :)

This is the closest I would get to watching Rick & Morty's Interdimensional cable TV :)

Interesting concept!

Cool idea. I like the thought of having this on a monitor constantly playing at a bar for cyberpunk decor.

From the other day’s front page post.. a bar where you have windows that are screens from video feeds from other bars

And just like that, poof, a thousand nerd hours of productivity go up in smoke.

This is really cool!

I find myself wanting to know a reference name or something for the clips that are shown. MTV would play the artist / song name at the beginning and end of each clip, and I find myself missing that little tag to mentally catalog these things.

It feels like I died and met J. R. "Bob" Dobbs.

I love it.

Everyone’s Pink until Bob sees your $20!

I feel like I stumbled on this at an unfortunate time, because whatever is playing at the moment is very rapidly triggering a headache due to the flashing of clips at a rapid pace. Pretty sure I know some epileptics that would have been set off by this. Felt a little less like TV and more like that scene from Altered Carbon where the main character gets the unicorn backpack -- overwhelming bombardment of rapid images.

Reminds me of https://archillect.com/tv

I wonder how many hours they have before you start seeing something you've seen already.

Also I wonder if these folks are in cahoots with "Everything is Terrible".

No need to wonder, there's a TV Guide if you click the (lines icon?) on the left.

I think it would be even better if it were a live stream (maybe with chat to see others reacting to whatever bizarre broadcast happens to be playing).

There’s a link to their Twitch channel on the page, https://www.twitch.tv/exptv_

Kinda reminds me of neverthink.tv. Similar idea of endless video but curated into categories.

I wish I could find an alternative.

This should be hosted by Blank Reg from Max Headroom.

It reminds me too of Over The Edge / Negativeland.

"And now... more of the same!"

That's some wholesome WTF.

This shit is amazing! Thanks.

Amazing!

Thanks for sharing!

It’s almost like the Internet K-Hole for video!

This is not bad!

reminds me of upl8.tv
