“Non-Human Biologic’ Pilot Found Aboard Crashed UAP”

I don't understand how one can pilot a phenomon. I think this may be an incorrect use of newer terminology which does not improve on older terms.

The intended headline might be:

“Non-Human Biologic’ Pilot Found Aboard Crashed UFO”

The term "biologic" stuck out to me. Its normal use these days is to refer to drugs produced by biological processes - human insulin produced in bacteria is a biologic.

It's not that the word is incorrectly used in this context, exactly. It a noun, that by etymology, means something of a biological origin. But it's such an odd way to express it, isn't it? Not organisms, not biological materials -- "biologics".

It is jargon? Does anyone else talk like that?

"Biologic" as a CYA term for naturally selected, or synthetic biological entities, such as biomimetic constructs, or organoid components of a vehicle that are calculated to perform well in our environment.

As an X-Files fan, I'm eager to see some big official announcement plus proofs.
