The greatest war movie ever – and the ones I can't bear

My favourite war film of late is Danger Close. It's reasonably close to the truth.

For a more modern take, my experience in the military was almost exactly like Jarhead.

We were Soldiers is also a very realistic movie. I would recommend it over Saving Private Ryan a hundred times!
