Show HN: Tailored resumes based on job descriptions

Hi HN!

I have been working on https://resgen.app for a couple weeks, and wanted to share it since it has been helpful for me in my own job search.

The idea came about after the frustration of tailoring each resume for each job. The way we actually talk about our experiences and the way they are portrayed on the resume are sometimes different. So, I wanted to make something that takes my rambling about my experiences and turn it into a custom resume for each job.

Resgen is a chrome extension / web app that tailors your experiences to best match the job description. On every LinkedIn job, a new button will appear that says "Generate". When clicked, a tailored resume will be generated using the experiences you entered on the app. It's also a good way to keep track of which resumes went to which job.

Looking forward to hearing your feedback!
