Imagine any political figure in the United States currently being able to produce a document like this.

There are plenty who have that capacity. The striking thing to me is that Nixon sees Clinton as an ally and not an enemy.

Why - really? They work supposedly with the same purpose, the good of the Nation. (The term 'bipartisan' occurs in the text.)

Is it possible that you have been exposed to radical polarizing figures? That would be worrisome - it is a heavy mark of populism.

You are welcome! But you see the times, somebody got irritated - and since it went to their fingers, I am still in doubt if it was out of having read some irony in the second part,

or out of feeling as outrageous the idea that politics is not supposed to be a decadent game of winning battles against "internal enemies".
