I'll definitely take the weekly shots over the daily+ shots.
And for people who are obese but not diabetic, I'm willing to bet many of them are pre-diabetic. So, maybe one Ozempic shot per week instead of needing to go on daily insulin shots in the near future. I'd be willing to bet that they would prefer an ounce of preventative as compared to a pound of cure.
I do firmly believe that the best medicine is eating the right food, but there comes a point where eating the right food isn't enough. And you have to be very careful when substituting food for medicine.
I will discuss the subject with my Endocrinologist, but I am most likely to take their word over that of some possibly random page on the Internet. I have chosen my doctors carefully, and I'm not going to discount their guidance quickly or easily.
