There's something amazingly Silicon Valley of asking for the "definition of done" of understanding the universe.

"understanding" is a human invention. we just want to have a model of the external world (if it exists) that makes us feel satisfied. we re basically looking to fool ourselves

I would guess it means trying to use AI to come up with an overfit grand unifying theory of physics.
