I really wonder what's going to happen there as climate change keeps getting worse. One "obvious" solution to me is that building more nuclear power plants would help them get more electricity to help cool things and keep society going, but India is a pretty poor country...
FWIW, India isn't well described as a poor country. A better description is: A rich, advanced economy about the size of France+Germany, coexisting with a billion poor people in the same area.
Migrate. In 5 years you'll probably do anyway. This is just the start.
