I don’t argue with people who think more policing will fix poverty. I just see them as having gotten roughed up by different thugs.

Ultimately what we’ve got isn’t working and the underlying problems are getting worse.

Eventually it’ll fail enough people we’ll pass a tipping point. Might as well start brainstorming

Nobody thinks more policing will fix poverty. What it might partially fix is people trying to rob me.

I'm all for increasing spending on other tools but sometimes you still need the hammer. Ever try to hammer a something when you don't have a hammer?
