“I got my wings clipped and they weren't gentle about it”

Yeah but what is really dissenting in her tweets??? I have read her tweets and non of them really seem anti-party to me. Heck she has been accused as a "communist agent" by many other twitter accounts. Also this is not really the first she has got a visit from the local authorities

She got one even in 2019 November and she was able to continue just fine.

Also none of her tweets seem deleted and her account is still not blocked, so I am a bit skeptical if it has anything to do with her tweets.

I have a feeling it is more to do with her public appearances that the authorities probably disliked. I mean Chinese are normally pretty conservative with public dressing. https://www.scmp.com/news/people-culture/gender-diversity/ar... Naomi on the other even by Western standards was a little too revealing(https://www.dexerto.com/tech/tech-youtuber-says-adult-conten...). Her wardrobe choice is normally not very tolerated in China. I am actually shocked that the local authorities allowed her for these many years to carry on like this.

She talked about certain difficulties related to present COVID policies but she didn't put anything that give an incentive to the authorities to take action on her. She just let the video do the talking. I really didn't find anything sensitive in that video at least.

Also Naomi Wu also has a lot of tweets that supports her country's tech development and puts stuff that if anything would only improve China's profile. I mean there are so many times she gets accused of being a "communist agent" or a "CCP shill" just because she tried to clear up certain topics which she felt was massively misconceived by the Western twitter users. At the same time I won't deny that certain wumaos have targeted her too. She basically gets smacked by both sides.

Heck she even had the balls to debunk the "Social Credit" theories too. I mean this is a women who is vehemently willing to defend her country if she feels its being misconceived.

Yes she is somewhat outspoken on various issues such as the Hong Kong stabbing, gay , sexuality, and women rights etc. but she was outspoken in a rather general manner. She barely targeted any specific political figure. But even then she says more positive of China than negative( or I would say its balanced).

About travelling Xinjiang?? Travelling there isn't a big problem since the central Government wants to promote it as a tourist spot these days.

But I am really weirded out about the fact that her partner is a Uyghur and yet Naomi freely roams with her without any scrutiny. I mean China's relations with the Uyghur minorities is pretty bad to say the least and it was pretty surprising that she was able to freely walk with her friend despite all this till now.

But what I really find even more weird is the lack of scrutiny to what she wears. The thing is even in Western internet certain conservative dudes absolutely don't like the way she dresses. I don't wanna say this, but she's a little too revealing even by Western standards and China is a lot more conservative than West where stuff like this happens pretty often.

I am actually shocked that Naomi Wu could even freely walk in the streets of Shenzhen without bystanders questioning her for her dressing or local authorities questioning her. I mean dude Chinese citizens are pretty conservative compared to Westerners who themselves have questioned Wu for her dressing sense at times. I have a feeling her dressing probably could have also landed her into trouble with the local Chinese authorities this time.

Also this is not really the first time Naomi Wu has gotten into trouble. I believe even in November 2019 she was detained by Chinese authorities. https://medium.com/@therealsexycyborg/shenzhen-tech-girl-nao... In my opinion, she would come out of this safe. Hopefully.
