Threads: A New Way to Share with Text

This sounds exciting

“ We’re working on Threads soon being compatible with the open, interoperable social networks that we believe can shape the future of the internet”

Look at the sheer amount of permissions the app requires on iPhone. Health data? Go fuck yourself.

Threads is in the same bucket as Facebook: hard pass.

Threads app is now life. If anyone knows the difference between "mute" and "hide", this announcement doesn't say.

Immediate impression is the app itself is nicer than the Twitter app.
