Reddit braces for life after API changes

I predict it all gets worse from here:
* more ads
* third-party apps get blocked; only Reddit official app allowed
* mobile website blocks and redirects to Reddit official app
* more ads
* Official Reddit app wants more permissions: show notifications, track location, etc.
* Desktop website requires ad blockers to be turned off
* more ads
To make more money they must show more ads and collect more user info for targeted advertising.
if i were to guess: reddits gamble is that enough people will click on them to ktlo, ipo and squeeze as much out of it as physically possible.
Reddit is poison, avoid it.
