Need a local (Novato) techie to help with a ventilator

My son uses a Vyaire LTV 1150 to sleep at night. We're in Novato CA on vacation and the vent just broke. The power supply won't charge the internal battery.

If you live nearby and have experience troubleshooting hardware (Ham radio connoisseur perhaps?) can you stop by and help out, or I can drive to you.

In parallel we're sourcing other options (a newer model) for tonight, but this would be a good plan B for us.
