The link should be change to https://www.farfuture.net/ (note the www. part).

It has a TLS cert which is only valid for www.farfuture.net but not farfuture.net, at least when I access it.

Oh, I see. And with LetsEncrypt, they only have another month before renewal.

Yes, I should have used https://www.farfuture.net/ instead.

Behind this link: "reprints of the classic role-playing game systems originally produced by GDW"

Yes, mostly reprints--albeit only on CDs or DVDs, looks like.

At least their latest, T5 Traveller 5 comes in a "hard-copy 3-book slipcase set."

Twilight: 2000 was recently revised and reprinted by Free League Publishing.

The box art is wonderful. The soldier is looking back at the viewer. If not a soldier, are we a civilian? A mother? A father?

Whoever we are, we want them to return home.

Home of Traveller and other tabletop roleplaying games (TTRPG).

The site looks to be refreshed as of today.

It has been mentioned on HN that this site is one to get the original sourcebooks in PDF format (on CD-ROM).

I wound up getting classic traveller and traveller 2300 (and accidentally bought traveller: the new error) as well as twilight 2000.

Well worth $50 to relive the joys of my youth. Now if I could just find someone to play with...

Yep. There are virtual tabletops now, but it just feels impossible to have synchronized play. Leisure is wealth.

As gifts go, an heirloom campaign setting is pretty unique. It does feel more possible though than a trust fund.

Anyone else think "Front Far East" when they see the acronym FFE?

So far, I'm only finding Far Eastern Front¹ and Front Fareast².

The latter is interesting in that, just today, I found one can buy M.2 SSD copiers. Without a computer, cloning naked sticks.
