Well, this is a bit underwhelming, especially in light of the rumors that 5.6 would include official support for consumer grade Radeon cards. At first blush, I don't see any mention of that in what they've announced (to be fair, maybe I just overlooked it?). Anyway, if that stuff didn't make it into 5.6.0, my guess is that it's still coming and will just be delayed until a future forthcoming release.
Would be nice if they'd say something official on that point though.
