I bumped into this randomly but found it fascinating. People try to hack growth and use hooks to attract an audience, but all it takes is to actually build something useful and authentic. Its quite an underrated approach.
I don't get it. Is this Redditese for a form of protest?
Perhaps ad-spam upvoted by bots to increase visibility. Fake engagement, which a conspiracy theorist could attribute to new revenue opportunities for Reddit.
