In a couple years people will start coupling, nesting, having kids. You’ll still see them a couple times a year but it won’t be the same.
Now is the time to build life long bonds.
Trust me i tell the same because now is the time because once you start working you’ll wish i had more fun
If you do things with friends, snap a few pictures.
If you binge-watch a tv show, watch it with someone else and then discuss it later. Then it becomes part of a relationship, not just empty entertainment.
If you do sports/exercise, do it with a goal in mind.
If you write code, write something that you can share with others, either by making it open source (or contributing to an open source project) or by making the results available to others (and thereby creating a "portfolio" project).
Whatever you do, make it memorable. It doesn't have to be big and impressive, it just has to have some meaning to you.
If you like C++ and are interested in helping to create at MIT-licensed webserver library, then hit me up. That's my latest project! :)
> connect with some re- & upcycling project and find out what they do or need. maybe you can build some small thingy with and/or for them
> talk to a lot of people to gain perspective on how people in your environment are adapting to whatever they think they are adapting to
> find passionate hobbyists and tinkerers in your area
> skateboarding does wonders to your brain & body within weeks!
If you really love some particular topic or technology, try to build a small project in it. If it is tech related, try putting it up on a public facing git repo for others to see.
