Ask HN: What ChatGPT Plugin Should I Build?

Hi HN,

I just got access to develop a ChatGPT plugin. Have some ideas but not 100% committed. Does anyone here have any recommendations?

For reference, here are the plugin guidelines: https://platform.openai.com/docs/plugins/review

A plugin that tells you some ChatGPT plugins you should build.

I sometimes use ChatGPT to analyze flaws in arguments or find bias. So far it seems very adept at this task (at least version 4 is). It would be cool to have it do this on an entire news article, opinion piece, or just a selected paragraph.

Another idea: ChatGPT bot that summarizes the day's top stories from multiple outlets with different leanings and combines the angles into single short articles.

An ecommerce search engine for consumer products, in the same vein as https://snapshop.netlify.app/ but obviously generic / not restricted to Shopify.

You would be doing the world a favor, the existing options for this are owned by corrupt / retrograde companies.

Consider building a ChatGPT plugin that helps with language learning, offering vocabulary practice, grammar explanations, and conversational exercises.

Do you have a paid account & how long have you been waiting for access? I'm considering paying to see if they move me up the waitlist.

For sagemath: https://www.sagemath.org

a plugin that tells you what emojis to use in response to a slack message.

Let us know what you decide, I’m curious!
