Ask HN: Novel Uses of eBPF and WASM?

eBPF seems to be almost exclusively used by the Linux kernel. Are there other uses by other operating systems / environments? And what about WASM?

I'm particularly interested in uses to minimize latency which normally requires a context switch or change in exception/privilege levels.
