The unexplained rise of cancer among millennials

... Control for all that stuff, and then see what's left in the "unexplained" basket.
I like to think about the first breath of air of a new born: a "nice" mix of exhaust gases. Later the parents will be shocked they got astma.
Seems like modern life is quite unhealthy for us but no one can pin down why.
I was also interested in seeing the higher prostate cancer rates. As prostate cancer is linked to DHT and DHT is linked to hair loss, and modern men are going bald much earlier. Another link.
Have they compared this to the gradual and massive expansion in testing and diagnostics, and moving the minimum ages younger and younger? My provider is demanding to go drilling up my butt for a colonoscopy as well as a prostate exam already on my fiftieth birthday. It would seem that increased cancer rates may be linked to increasingly aggressive testing that doesn't seem to be optional, as well as ever-more sensitive criteria.
It is my understanding that some cancer testing, such as lung cancer biopsy, can actually cause cancer by the very act, so then doctors get to congratulate themselves on catching it early... very early, I'd say!
