Oh man, this has the vibes of JIS - the Juggling Information Service. This is where I saw this kind of animation the first time l, I think. It was one of the first websites I visited regularly and it is still online.

The JIS database of clubs was already out of date and not responding to update requests ~25 years ago. For an actively-maintained list of events and clubs there is: https://www.jugglingedge.com/ -- which is where most of the rec.juggling and IJDb community went when IJDb shut down. There are probably more active forums now, but it's still the cleanest and most comprehensive list of juggling clubs and events that I know of.

funny to see juggling GUFs on hacker news, and a reference to the IJDb.

I was the creator and maintainer of the IJDb for a great many years. It was sad to have to finally shut it down, but it had had its day :-(

Thanks so much for the IJDb Colin E!

You're welcome - it was a blast.
