My guess it that is got killed because it sounds like an advertisement. A better format would be "Hi, I am x. I have built a devtool for y. I build it because the current tools sucks at z. The one feature I like the most in my tool is q."

After reading your pitch I am still not sure what technologies and audience your devtool are for and what problem it tries to solve.
