We know fossil fuels are damaging the environment so we need to do the change over to an alternative. waiting because EVs are inconvenient now is not a choice. The advantage of technology is that it gets better as we discover problems. But that can't happen unless we start.

Also there's a subset of customers that can use the current EVs now without any difficulties. Why not go after those customers as the tech improves.

EVs aren't perfect now but in time they will be.
