This is sad but not surprising. Capitalists will not do anything until it hurts their bottom line and they can’t find a way to pass the cost onto their employees and/or their customers. Even the capitalists that might care just think “not my problem” and move on. The younger (and more socioeconomically disadvantaged) generations will suffer for our predecessors’ greed and mistakes.
