This is a nice dev diary describing the various API's used and how the site was put together. Be great if it included more detail (ie, code!).

Maybe it's silly, but I guess, relevant - I also find it just exciting to read a post filled with syntax-coloured monospace boxes strewn through it. Maybe others feel the same? Possibly it's like the code equivalence to diagrams and illustrations.
Yes, the code is pretty straightforward. It was mostly going down rabbit holes, or finding API's that was the hard part.
