The author clearly wanted to tackle this topic -it's a good topic, but didn't actually find any pre-existing concrete facts that could answer the question and so just wrote the article without answering the question.

Are wildfire particles bigger or smaller than 0.1 microns? I don't know, this article doesn't say, and without that knowledge you can't say the Dyson Zone works in this case.

On top of that, it's not actually clear to me that the Zone actually works as a product at all - yes the air that goes through the filters gets filtered to some scientifically measurable degree, but does that filtered actually get into your lungs? Because the mask is not sealed, so it's perfectly possible when you take a deep breath you just suck in a tonne of air from around the mask and so your 99.9% pure air is suddenly 50:50 mixed with completely impure air.
