It's the model that many companies follow. Buildup demand and let people find a need. Once that's done, charge the full + profit cost. These companies will not subsidize the costs forever. Uber is a company that has followed the model. It was cheap at the start but now it's much more expensive.
AI needs an awful lot of processing power. Proof of work crypto-miners have an awful lot of processing power. A match made in heaven? Introducing bAItcoin, to the moon!
