"Company that periodically releases more powerful products expected to release more powerful product in the future." Wowee.

This is shit low-effort blogspam.

In 1997 nVidia released the much anticipated Riva 128. It was built on a 350nm process, and had 4 million transistors. This will be built on 3nm and have maybe 90 billion transistors.

20% more performance for 20% higher prices... whoopty doo.

Can I also get 20% larger size? And maybe 20% less VRAM.

Don't forget to increase energy use by at least 20% too.

And reduce production run by 20% to entice scalpers to buy all of your stock instantly.

8gb vram aught to be enough for anyone.

That what I call an optimistic forecast!

You know it’s telling when Nvidia hasn’t removed the 16 series from their website, which is over 4 years old now.

That's why the need to hype AI. Since, it' sounds like the game market is kind of drying up.

AI hype is the new cryptocurrency hype. Gaming on high end PCs is only for enthusiasts now. I got a PS5 and just don’t give a crap anymore about PC gaming. AI grifters can overpay for all the GPUs now, I don’t care anymore.

I don’t know if this is accurate of overall consumer behavior. PC gaming has never been bigger, particularly among kids.

I see a kids ignoring the Xbox and PlayStation and going straight from the Switch to PC. The people who seem to be buying the PS5 are the 30+ crowd.

Much of their Game Market were Cypto hype anyway. And actual Game market itself were pumped up during COVID.

I'm mostly curious about the next generation of DLSS and Frame Generation. It's already very very impressive and game changing but I guess it will only gets better by the time.

In other news, water is wet

...but the RTX 5000 was already a workstation card in the Turing series

Aw no measurements? Need to see if it can fit on a desk.
