Meta threatens to pull news content in California if bill pay publishers passes

3 billion active users according to... Facebook? Does the "active user" definition include dormant accounts and bot accounts? Where do these active users reside-- in the US or ROW? Surely 3 billion "active" users do not all reside in California.
Who has said "No"? And what have they said "no" to exactly?
Thanks!
You know what it means. For the second time, the users do. not. care.
> 3 billion active users according to... Facebook?
Yes. According to 'Meta'. Who else has 3 billion daily active users on each of their platforms?
> Surely 3 billion "active" users do not all reside in California.
This is you earlier:
>> How about Meta pulls itself out of social media altogether. Zuckerberg has destroyed all trust at this point. Shut it down. Seriously.
You yourself are not seriously going to tell 3 billion daily active users worldwide and Zuckerberg to stop using Meta's services and to seriously "Shut it down".
Please.
Asking for clarification is a clear indication that I don't know what you mean. I can see facts escape you.
> You yourself are not seriously going to tell 3 billion daily active users worldwide and Zuckerberg to stop using Meta's services and to seriously "Shut it down".
> Please.
See how you don't answer the questions with credible information? I do.
Until you have actual data that (1) there are "3 billion daily active users", and (2) "users do. not. care." kindly contain your miserable state of feckless hostility to yourself. Thanks!
Speak for yourself. Again this is you:
>> How about Meta pulls itself out of social media altogether. Zuckerberg has destroyed all trust at this point. Shut it down. Seriously.
You’re the one who wants Zuckerberg to completely ‘shutdown’ Meta and all of its social media services. For the third time. The users simply do. not. care.
Let us test this right now: Go to Zuckerberg’s Facebook or Instagram page and tell him to shut Facebook and all of Meta’s services down like you said in your comment.
I guarantee you, not only you will not do it, but even if you did, it will only prove that the users will NOT care regardless and all this shows is that you are all talk on this website whilst you complaining about shutting down Meta.
See how easy that is. Now your turn. Oh that's right. No data, still...
Your claim that the users don't care is baseless.
> Let us test this right now: Go to Zuckerberg’s Facebook or Instagram page and tell him to shut Facebook and all of Meta’s services down like you said in your comment.
Your suggestion for a "test" is to log into facebook and/or instagram and communicate with an account that Zuckerberg does not use to express your sentiment. This is the most ignorant approach I've read on communication.
> I guarantee you, not only you will not do it, but even if you did, it will only prove that the users will NOT care regardless and all this shows is that you are all talk on this website whilst you complaining about shutting down Meta.
I guarantee that you are not intelligent. You are a puppet. Suggestion is to pull out the hand lodged inside you, in hopes you can reclaim your mental capacity.
The 96th trusted brand out of 100 is Meta, just above Fox, FTX, and the Trump organization.
Yet the number of users using their services is still in the billions of users even since Cambridge Analytica according to Meta's own numbers [0] and as shown in historical numbers on Statista [1], rising to a total to 3 billion daily active users across all their services. So, for the fourth time:
The users do. not. care.
> Your suggestion for a "test" is to log into facebook and/or instagram and communicate with an account that Zuckerberg does not use to express your sentiment. This is the most ignorant approach I've read on communication.
So when are you going to 'seriously' tell Zuckerberg and Meta to shut all their services down then if you won't tell him on his page(s), assuming you are 'serious'? It's fine to back out of what you said earlier about shutting it down:
>> How about Meta pulls itself out of social media altogether. Zuckerberg has destroyed all trust at this point. Shut it down. Seriously.
> I guarantee that you are not intelligent. You are a puppet. Suggestion is to pull out the hand lodged inside you, in hopes you can reclaim your mental capacity.
That is more of a reflection on yourself in denial especially with your first comment. But as expected unsurprisingly, you are full of talk on this website.
For someone like you to tell Meta and Zuckerberg to seriously consider shutting down all their services with billions of users still using their services is someone who has already shown that they aren't remotely serious.

Just admit you weren't serious about what you said and you were just being a sock-puppet.
Again, Meta's services is still up and running with its billions of users still on the platform whilst you continue to sit there complaining about shutting it down. You are all talk.
Just admit you weren't serious about what you said and you were just being a sock-puppet.
This is a very passive-aggressive assertion. I ask that you respect both me and yourself by limiting this type of communication style. It's not productive, and shows you are searching for power, because you don't have any.
> Again, Meta's services is still up and running with its billions of users still on the platform whilst you continue to sit there complaining about shutting it down. You are all talk.
Good things take time. Share your FB and Instagram handle. I'll keep you informed on the progress.
You're the one who claims to care enough to tell Zuckerberg to 'seriously' shut Meta down, yet you knew you weren't being serious in the first place in actually getting him to do it. You talk about 'respect' after you first threw insults like 'I guarantee that you are not intelligent', 'You are a puppet.', etc. yet you're here calling for productive communication?
You are not 'serious'.
> Good things take time. Share your FB and Instagram handle. I'll keep you informed on the progress.
I neither use Facebook or Instagram. My point is, even if you tell both Zuckerberg and Meta on their FB and IG pages to consider shutting their services down in a comment, it will only prove my point that for the fifth time the billions of Meta users around the world simply do. not. care. about your post regardless.
So unless you have pasted a direct link here commenting with your FB/IG account on Meta, and Zuckerberg's FB and IG pages about considering to shut themselves down, you were only fooling around and just complaining about it here, since you won't do anything about it.
