Bugzilla (Firefox): API to hide the tab bar

I posted this not as a dig at Mozilla. It was genuinely interesting to read all the design considerations and software limitations in doing something so seemingly simple as "hiding the tab bar".

I'm sure we've all been approached by a boss or a coworker who has asked us for a request that seemed trivial from their perspective, but meant days or weeks of coding for us, much to their surprise.

That being said, vertical tabs in Firefox would be super nice.
