Twitter represents a (one of many) threats to their control. DeSantis might be the strongest threat to Biden, so he must be attacked. Amusingly what unites Hillary and Trump is attacking DeSantis.
His fatal flaw is probably the 6 week abortion ban he signed in Florida. That is an ultimate wedge issue for many.

A non Trump R is going to win back states Trump lost in 2020 (GA, AZ). They have to win in MI, WI, PA etc. Will be hard but Trump did it in 2016.
