Work from Home and the Office Real Estate Apocalypse

Independent of COVID, if they wanted to truly address Climate Change they would have to address commuting. Or, I guess, pay people enough to want to live near their jobs so as to walk to work. If people cut their commute down, companies would either lose staff or offer WFH. And with WFH, commercial real estate would take gas.

COVID demonstrated that WFH worked, at least in many areas to an appreciable degree. Given that the climate concern was arguably saying pleasant words, there was a catalyst that might never have otherwise occurred.
