NHS staff report 20k claims of patient sexual misconduct over five years

It feels remarkably low, like a massive massive under-count of a very serious serious problem. The article does mention this, and some of the potential causes:

There are something like a million patient contacts every 36 hours in the English NHS. So over 5 years that's something like 1.2billion patient contacts.
