Platform Engineer vs. Software Engineer

> Comparatively, the role of a software engineer is rather limited.

Ouch, what exactly does this random, contrived distinction seek to do? In my opinion, a software engineer is a living concept that captures system engineering. It is like what, the new “general practicioner?” Only to be collected on your way to “platform engineer”

Pshh, whatever.
