Why don't they make an industry rPi where they charge 10x what the consumer version costs? It sounds like there is a huge market for that.

not really, no. It's neither at a massive premium nor the only thing available for commercial customers.

The rpi is not unique enough (or even unique at all) to be able to get away with doing something like that.
