we debated this; this is going to be a sequential rollout based on availability/capacity, and it seemed better to broadcast it was coming earlier b/c we're not going to have a "launch event" moment.
So it's a soft opening. Like an out-of-town preview.
I like the way you think
Arguably it would be good to not announce till it’s both available because even once released, expectations are going to be extremely high due to copilot.
You could announce it when it's available to at least one user. "In the coming months" kills the excitement.
Are you kidding? Google's main product is waiting lists.
The Brits love it.
There's Google Wait, Wait+, GWait, Hangwait, Wate, Wait4it, Google Weight List, Alphawait, and last but not least GWait Hangwait.
Am I missing any?
There's actually 3 different products named Google Wait.
Google Finally. They're the ones who release everything at google:
"Google Finally releases GoogleGargle"
wait until you gotta wait for the waitlist.
I always know about google product too soon or too late. When the new product is not available yet and when they announce they kill it.
