heh! never ever setup a factory there. Too many issues and none of the govt initiatives are supportive. It's only on paper and the ground reality will kill you. Much worse than another countries. It might favor big businesses though if it gets under the table support!!

Yep. Union worker issues, quality issues. Raw materials demand etc., etc., A lot more issues. It's getting costly to run a factory in India at a large scale. Though it might favor big businesses due to the fat margins on which they operate, but the margin gets thinner and they might look for cheaper places to setup alternatives. Inflation is one big worry and almost all state and the central union govt operates with utmost corruption!

There was a story, but it was about Wistron selling their factory to Tata, which is a very large industrial house, making Tata one of the Apple manufactures.

Apple, per the reports, is increasing its manufacturing there.
