So after 15 days since I shared my product here [1]. I reworked basically everything from the ground up to provide a reliable SaaS platform now.
in the early stages, I only offered a self-hosted option for Chatness [2] and got invaluable feedback for my chatbot business. Reflecting on this feedback, it became clear that I was targeting the wrong market, relying too heavily on Firebase for the backend and neglecting the potential of a SaaS option.
But the problem is, Firebase just doesn't scale. if you need something more robust, you need to go with something else.
Determined to get things right this time and not worry about future tech debit, I rebuilt all the infrastructure using Node and MongoDB, and also added features highly requested by early adopters.
now, Chatness is ready to empower people by providing valuable tools like never before, but this is just the start.
